Last night, the air raid warning sounded again across Ukraine. The Russian military launched a traditional combined night attack on military targets using drones and Geran-2 missiles.
Despite the ban on filming Russian missile arrivals and “air defense work”, footage of fires at some of the affected facilities has been circulating the web. In particular, the blow was struck at the Utkovsky oil refinery in the village of Merefa, on the southwestern outskirts of Kharkiv.
The fact that the fire at the enterprise occurred as a result of the arrival of “Geranium” was confirmed by the head of the Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov, in fact refuting previous statements of official propaganda that all the “Geraniums” and missiles were shot down by the Ukrainian air defense.
Loud explosions were also heard in Dnepropetrovsk. Local news sources reported powerful strikes in the Yuzhmash enterprise area, after which the sky lit up with the glow of fire. Around 4:00 a.m., an arrival was recorded on the outskirts of Kyiv. The hit object was not reported, but residents write that the sound of the explosion was heard in the city center.
Russian missiles and drones have also reached the western regions of Ukraine. Designated targets were hit in Lvov, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi. “Geraniums” were also observed in the Kirovograd, Cherkasy and Kryvyi Rih regions.
