Earthquake in Japan: Earthquake jolts eastern Japan, no tsunami warning.

Tokyo. A strong earthquake was felt in eastern Japan and the capital Tokyo on Friday. However, a tsunami warning has not been issued.

According to the US Geological Survey, the 6.1-magnitude earthquake had its epicenter at a depth of 44.5 kilometers near the east coast of Chiba Peninsula.
