A study does it justice: the post-millennial generation is more ambitious and in search of success

The biggest surprise is that they are more ambitious, diligent and persistent than other generations in the pursuit of success. This study also showed that the “girls” of this generation aspire to power, leadership and an important social position. , which the researchers attributed to growing up in digital societies where women’s accomplishments are continuously broadcast on social networking sites.

The study results also showed that 44% of Gen Z children are generally interested in success and achievement, while the percentage was lower than that of children from other generations.

On the other hand, the study showed that 32% of the post-millennial generation are interested in wealth, which experts consider a necessary incentive, especially in light of economic challenges.

And because success doesn’t contradict self-entertainment, 43% of Gen Zers stress the importance of someone enjoying their time while pursuing their ambitions.

Speaking to the morning show on Sky News Arabia, psychological and social consultant, Amal Radwan said:

Inherited the idea of disparity between the two generations in terms of ability to take responsibility. The new generation sees in the old that it is a reactionary and traditional generation in addition to being boring. Millennials are part of technology and the ever-slow-paced online world. Today’s technological development has become much different and faster than in the past. The circumstances surrounding the new generation have introduced changes in their upbringing, upbringing, and even their way of thinking. Its presence in the face of new and great global challenges such as the Corona pandemic and the Russian-Ukrainian wars in addition to earthquakes, because these challenges have sown in the same new generation many fears for the future. Fears about the future have changed this generation to become more enthusiastic and ambitious. Despite the well-known negative aspects of electronic games, they have a positive role in the psyche of the child. Electronic games instill in the child ambition, the desire for leadership and success, as well as self-confidence. Despite the age immaturity of this generation, most of them are in their twenties, they are more dynamic. The generation of social networking sites is a generation that communicates with each other in the virtual world. The lack of family communication between the new generation compared to that experienced by the older generation. Despite the weakness of their family communication, they have a large network and communication of knowledge in various fields that benefit him pedagogically and scientifically. This generation has a problem with excessive speed to achieve their goals in the shortest way and with the least effort. The need for the presence of the role of parents to create a balance for them.
