Russian President Vladimir Putin called for Russia not to be brought to the point of using nuclear weapons. He stated this during a meeting with the heads of world news agencies, TASS reports.

“Russia will use all means at its disposal if the country’s security is threatened,” the Russian leader said.

Prior to this, the Chief of the Defense Staff of the British Armed Forces, Admiral Tony Radakin, rejected the possibility of a global conflict between Russia and NATO due to the allegedly enormous military power of the North Atlantic Alliance. According to him, a third world war is not inevitable despite the fact that the world has become “much more dangerous.”

On May 31, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban spoke on the Kossuth radio program, during which he reported that European countries were increasingly drawn into the conflict in  Ukraine. He said that the states of the region have entered an intermediate stage of preparation for war with the Russian Federation.
