Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to a statement from the Directorate of Communications, bilateral relations between the two countries, regional and global developments were discussed in detail during the meeting.

Turkish President Erdoğan expressed his satisfaction with the continued strengthening of relations between Turkey and Russia, and drew attention to the importance of the ongoing high-level political dialogue between the two countries. Erdoğan emphasized that both regional and global issues will continue to be evaluated in detail on various platforms in the coming period.

Putin’s Birthday.

Turkish President Erdoğan also congratulated Russian President Putin on his birthday during the meeting. The two stated that constructive steps would be taken to further develop bilateral relations
