On Tuesday, the Arab Council criticized the two-day meetings of the foreign ministers of the United States of America, Israel and four Arab countries in the Negev , southern Israel.

And on Monday, the foreign ministers of Egypt, the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco, Israel and the United States of America concluded their two-day meetings in the Negev, declaring the continued strengthening of joint relations and the establishment of a “permanent forum between the participating countries.”

The Arab Council said in a statement seen by The Eastern Herald’s editorial staff of it, that these meetings “were held on the land of a settlement in the occupied Negev, which for decades has witnessed continuous theft and displacement of Palestinian lands.”

The council considered that “the real goal of this summit is the grave of the Palestinian cause, the waiver of the legitimate rights of the Palestinians, and the circumvention of the positions and resistance of the united Palestinian interior in adhering to stopping normalization, ending the siege, releasing prisoners, returning refugees, and the Arabism of Al-Quds Al-Sharif.”

He believed that “the position of the ministers who participated in the meetings is contrary to the general trend in their countries and to the feelings of the Arab people in general.”

The Council called on what it described as “the live forces in the entire region to coordinate in order to address the consequences of this summit and in order to convey their voice to the whole world that true peace can only be achieved by achieving the demands of the Palestinian people and ensuring their legitimate rights, and that the fate of any circumvention of the will of the Palestinians by subordinate regimes will be a catastrophic failure.” “.
