Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Washington and NATO are running the military operations in Ukraine

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said, on Wednesday, that Washington and NATO are managing operations in Ukraine, not Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyyy.

“There is no need to talk about Volodymyr Zelenskyy ‘s independence either now or before, of course, his guardians are behind him,” she added.

“First of all, Washington and other NATO structures have been managing this process in one way or another for many years,” she said, according to the Russian news agency TASS.

She pointed out that talking about Zelenskyyy’s statements and thinking about them logically is counterproductive, stressing that “today he says one thing and tomorrow he says another.”

Commenting on the negotiation process between Russia and Ukraine, Zakharova said: “There is no trust towards these people (Ukrainians), we lost confidence in them a long time ago.”

And she continued: “A request was made to us for negotiations by the office of a man who calls himself the President of Ukraine and has the appropriate powers and Russia did not refuse this request, but as always the circus began literally and figuratively, on the part of the Kyiv regime; first they come and then they do not come, sometimes they participate and sometimes They don’t participate.”

She noted that Russia was ready for this and expected Ukraine to act “inconsistently” during these negotiations.

She explained that in recent years, the Kyiv approach to negotiations was built in exactly the same way, and the fate of the “Minsk” agreement is known, and it has not been implemented.

And she added, “The scheme is classic. It says that the regime (in Kyiv) is not independent, it is controlled, and secondly, it uses negotiations as a distraction.”

And on February 24, Russia launched an attack on Ukraine , followed by international rejection and severe economic sanctions against Moscow, which stipulate to end its operation that Kyiv abandon plans to join military entities and remain neutral, which the latter considers an “interference” in its sovereignty.
