S. Ursulyak’s film “The Righteous” is released

From February 16, the film can be viewed in all cinemas in the country. The film is based on the true story of Soviet partisan Nikolai Kiselyov, who in 1942 saved two hundred Jews from certain death. The action of the film takes place in parallel in two periods of time – at the height of the Second World War and in the present day. The photo contains documentary footage, testimonies of participants in these events.
The roles in the film were performed by Alexander Yatsenko, Mark Eidelstein, Evgeny Tkachuk, Lyubov Konstantinova, Fedor Dobronravov, Konstantin Khabensky and others.
Exhibition “Garden of Eden” at ARTPLAY

Works by 29 academic artists who are members of the Moscow Union of Artists will be presented at ARTPLAY on February 18. The theme that unites all the creations of the exhibition will be the Garden of Eden. The most famous biblical scenes will be embodied in painting, sculpture and abstraction.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to communicate personally with the artists and inquire about the meanings inherent in their work.

The show, which will be presented on the Nouvelle Scène on February 17 and 26, is based on the film “8½” by Federico Fellini. Director Leyla Abu al-Kishek assures that the performance will not just be an attempt to transfer the events of the film to the theatrical stage. It is an independent action filled with irony and humor.
