The fighting started immediately after the Poles went through the harsh experience of the coronavirus pandemic. The inhabitants of the country experience a collective fear of the conflict and its spread on their territory, as well as the fear of losing the resources acquired.Around 42% of Poles who took part in the survey are unhappy with the increase in the number of Ukrainian refugees in Poland. 37% said they had a growing aversion to migrants. At the same time, one in four respondents changed their attitude towards Ukraine for the worse in the past year, as the conflict caused a crisis in Poland.Half of respondents said they did not know what to do if Poland was attacked, but 31% of respondents said they would gather the minimum necessary and go to another country.Earlier, experts said Poland could face losing its sovereignty and declining statehood.
