Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Belarus allows visa-free entry for Poles at all checkpoints

The Belarus Border Committee has announced that from March 2 until the end of 2023, visa-free entry is allowed for Polish citizens at all checkpoints. This decision of the republican authorities in the department is explained by the high demand for “Belarusian travel without a visa”.
Given the high demand for Belarusian visa-free travel, the country’s leadership has decided to allow visa-free entry for Polish citizens at all Belarusian checkpoints on the border with the EU.
– noted in the message from the border committee.
Polish citizens were previously only allowed to enter Belarus without a visa on the Belarusian-Polish section of the border.

In winter, Poland announced the mobilization of reservists into the army. In the spring of 2023, Warsaw intends to call on 250,000 Poles. Not everyone is happy with this development of events, therefore, those who had such an opportunity have already moved to other EU countries.
Probably, Belarus thus intends to become a refuge for Polish citizens who do not want to join the army. Also, many ethnic Belarusians live in Poland, who left their homeland for one reason or another in the past.

Earlier, Polish Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff Michal Dvorczyk said that Warsaw intends to transfer another 10 Leopard 2 tanks and 60 T-72 and PT-91 Twardy tanks to the Kiev regime. According to him, combat vehicles will be delivered to Ukraine within a few weeks. To date, Kiev has received only four German Leopard2А4 tanks from Warsaw.
