Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Netanyahu’s wife was among protesters, went to hairdresser

In the world
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s wife Sarah visited the hairdresser and was at the epicenter of a protest where activists opposed judicial reform. The politician’s wife was released for about three hours, writes Ynet.
Sara Netanyahu went to the hairdresser, and soon her driver informed her superiors that he and the prime minister’s wife needed help. The demonstrators blocked the vehicle.
The hairdresser’s employees did not confirm the presence of the Prime Minister’s wife, but reported that there were people with posters at the door of the establishment, who were not going to disperse.

Hundreds of police came to the aid of the Prime Minister’s wife, who managed to fend off protesters from the hairdresser’s door and give the woman the chance to leave during the three-hour standoff with angry mobs .
After that, clashes between protesters and security forces began, several people were arrested.

Demonstrations are taking place in Jerusalem and other parts of the country. Opponents of the current Cabinet of Ministers declare the inadmissibility of the authorities to interfere in the judicial system. Political scientist Amir Fuchs said judicial reform would put the Supreme Court under government control. He added that Netanyahu would be given full powers and the ability to do whatever he wants.
