The Saudi Press Agency said that the rescue and rapid intervention team in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region inside the courtyards of the Prophet’s Mosque managed to save the life of a Pakistani national, Muammar, whose heart stopped for more than 10 minutes.
The Health Assembly in Madinah stated that the medical teams received an urgent notification to deal with a case of a seventy-year-old patient suffering from health problems and loss of consciousness inside the courtyards of the Prophet’s Mosque, where the ambulance service was immediately provided and the case was diagnosed with cardiac and respiratory arrest.
The medical team confirmed that cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was started at 11:20 am, according to the protocol followed for these cases and electric shocks, in attempts to restore his pulse and oxygen, which lasted for more than 10 minutes until he recovered it.
He added: The patient was transferred to Al-Safia Center to complete the treatment plan and give him the necessary medicines until the condition stabilized and she left the center.
According to the Saudi Agency, the Al-Safia Urgent Care Center has received 7 cases of heart failure, 48 cases of critical respiratory failure, and 8 cases of heart attacks in the courtyards of the Prophet’s Mosque since the beginning of the current calendar year.
