His Excellency Mr. Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim, Speaker of the Shura Council, met today with HE Mr. Fortune Charumbira, Speaker of the Pan-African Parliament, and his accompanying delegation, who is currently visiting the country. During the meeting, HE the Speaker of the Pan-African Parliament congratulated the government and people of the State of Qatar on the great success in hosting the 2022 FIFA,Football,Soccer World Cup Qatar, stressing that he was keen to visit the State of Qatar to thank it for hosting the best edition in the history of the tournament, praising at the same time the comprehensive renaissance. The country is witnessing, appreciating Qatar’s contributions and support for sustainable development efforts. During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the Shura Council and the Pan-African Parliament, and ways to enhance them, in addition to reviewing a number of issues and topics of interest to both sides, and ways to increase coordination on them. A number of Their Excellencies officials and members of the Shura Council attended the meeting.
