Today, the United States of America announced the inclusion of 37 Chinese and Russian entities on its trade blacklist.
In a press release, the US Department of Commerce attributed the imposition of sanctions on these entities to their involvement in activities that support the Russian army in the war on Ukraine and help Moscow evade the global restrictions imposed on it.
Thea Kindler, Assistant Secretary of State, said in a press release: "When we identify entities of national security or foreign policy concern to the United States, we add them to the Sanctions Entity List to ensure scrutiny of their transactions". And Washington had included in the month of February last company "Megaphone"the second largest mobile operator in Russia, to the list of allegedly sanctioned entities "Obtaining American technology to support the Russian army". The blacklist also included two Chinese satellite companies, namely "Spacety" And" China Head Aerospace Technology". It is worth noting that US companies are prohibited from selling technology to companies and entities blacklisted by the Department of Commerce, unless they have an exceptional export license.
