The Ministry of the Interior in Egypt announced the arrest of those in charge of the Hog Bull electronic platform. Egyptian media said that they had defrauded Egyptian citizens of 6 billion Egyptian pounds ($129 million).

According to the Egyptian Ministry of Interior, the number of those in charge of the application is 29 people (13 of whom hold the nationality of a foreign country), and they took from 2 residential villas in Cairo a headquarters to carry out their illegal activity.

After legalizing the procedures, they were targeted and seized, and they were in possession of (95 mobile phones – 3367 mobile phone lines – 9 group messaging modems – 7 computers – 39 computer screens and their accessories – 3 cars – sums of money in local and foreign currencies "amounted to about 600 thousand pounds" 41 credit cards for banks abroad.

Confronting them, they admitted that they formed a gang formation that targeted those who wanted to achieve quick financial gains via the Internet and seize their money through a number of electronic wallets (their number reached 88 wallets), which are then distributed to many other electronic wallets (their number reached 9965 wallets) to avoid security monitoring and as a prelude to To transfer it abroad in their favor through online programs to buy cryptocurrency "bitcoin".

The necessary measures are being taken to seize the monitored electronic wallets and track the funds transferred abroad through the International Interpol.

They also admitted that they closed the application after they were able to seize that money, and that they were in the process of launching another electronic application under the name (RIOT) for the same purpose in the context of completing their criminal activity. Legal measures were taken, and the Public Prosecution office conducted the investigation.
