Saudi Arabia has executed two citizens of the country. This was announced on Twitter by the press service of the Ministry of the Interior of the Kingdom. One of the executed was charged with paedophilia, the second – with the murder of a security guard.
Omar al-Barakati reportedly abducted underage boys, then raped and beat them. The court found him guilty. The verdict was upheld by two other superior courts. After that, the sentence was carried out.
The second executed – Mohammed Faidi – was charged under several articles at once. The main one was the deliberate murder of a security guard who was on duty. Also, the acquisition and storage of weapons. And also set fire to the oil installation.
