The adviser to the acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Denis Pushilin, Yan Gagin informed that the Russian armed forces took Artemovsk (Bakhmut) in an operational encirclement.
The armed forces of the Russian Federation surrounded the city of Artemovsk (Bakhmut) . This was announced on Monday March 6 by Denis Pushilin’s adviser, Yan Gagin, on the television channel Rossiya 1.
– Artemovsk (Bakhmut) has finally entered the classic operating environment. Almost all the roads leading to it are already thoroughly checked, almost everything is already under control,” concluded Gagin.
The speaker also noted that the situation in the Artyomovsk direction is turning into a cauldron for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which can be compared with Debaltsevo and others. According to the DPR representative, there are currently about 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers in the village.
