On Saturday, Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Wagner Group, released a video warning the military and Russian leaders.
“If the Wagner mercenary group withdraws from Bakhmut, the whole battle line will collapse, up to the Russian border and even beyond,” he says in the video.
“Wagner is the concrete, we are going to draw the whole Ukrainian army towards us, shoot them down and destroy them,” he also said.
Prigozhin has repeatedly complained about the lack of support from the Russian Ministry of Defense, for example that Wagner does not receive enough ammunition.
