Grass burning has started in the Kaliningrad region. Municipal governments have begun preparations for the fire season.
According to the official telegraph channel of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of the Kaliningrad region, a special fire regime has been established in the region since March 7, 2023.
“An occupation dangerous to the life of plants, animals and people is punishable by law, up to criminal liability,” the department said.
So, a planned meeting of the Emergency Situations Commission was held in Baltiysk, where they discussed the implementation of measures to ensure safety in the municipality. For example, more than 1,600 hectares are planned to be mowed to prevent fires.
Earlier, MK in Kaliningrad reported that on March 5, 22 rescuers came out to extinguish a garbage fire in the Kaliningrad region.
