Russian Medvedev defeated American Nakashima in the second round of the tournament in Indian Wells

The former first racket in the world Daniil Medvedev won the 15th consecutive victory on the ATP circuit on March 11. The Russian tennis player defeated US Representative Brandon Nakashima in straight sets, informs RT . The meeting of the second round of the Masters series tournament in Indian Wells lasted 1 hour and 27 minutes and ended in victory for Medvedev with the score 6:4, 6:3. In straight sets, the Russian managed to submit six times from start to finish and hit three out of seven break points. Medvedev’s opponent in the third round will be Ilya Ivashko from Belarus.

Russian tennis players continue to participate in international tournaments in a neutral status. The ban on the use of state symbols is related to the conduct of a special military operation of the RF Armed Forces in Ukraine.
