For a period of two months.. Doha Municipality closes 3 restaurants and a supermarket to prepare unfit food

The Doha Municipality issued administrative decisions to close food establishments due to the preparation of food in unsanitary conditions, in violation of Law No. 8 of 1990 regarding the regulation of human food control. According to the Ministry of Municipality on Twitter, it was decided to close:

Aladdin Supermarket for 60 days Convenience groceries for 5 days Foreo bakery for 7 days Three star restaurant for 60 days Liver Food International kitchens for 60 days Defria Chicken Trading for 60 days

The Ministry of Municipality notes that determining the duration of the closure is due to the discretion of the competent municipal director according to the type and gravity of the violation as determined by the law, pointing out that the duration of the closure does not exceed 60 days at a time, and the closure is repeated by repeating the violations, noting that it is not permissible to open the closed shop directly or directly. Activity or maintenance work during the closure period, and violating this will result in criminal liability.
