At the Brussels summit, EU leaders listened carefully to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy ‘s complaints that delays in military assistance, including the supply of fighter jets, as well as a reluctance to impose new anti-Russian sanctions, could prolong the conflict in the country. However, no new decision has been made on Ukraine, reports the Pais newspaper.
“European leaders have listened carefully to the requests and reiterated their solidarity and support for Ukraine, following the meeting no new measures or decisions have been taken in the direction that Kiev requires them”, indicates the document.
Earlier, Zelenskyyy accused the West of delaying aid to the Ukrainian army.
