New decisions that are essential for the Ukrainian army to support it are being dragged out by Western countries. This statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in a video message to the nation, which was posted on his Telegram channel on Thursday evening.
“Dear colleagues, don’t you think that we have less new successes than new delays in joint actions? Unfortunately, it is true, and the Kremlin sees it,” he blamed the West.
To prove his point, the Ukrainian leader gave five examples. He lamented that Kiev still has not received foreign long-range missiles and modern fighters.
Zelenskyyy also noted that Western leaders were delaying the introduction of new anti-Russian sanctions, the organization of a “summit on the peace formula” and decisions regarding Ukraine’s European integration.
Earlier, US Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley expressed his belief that the Ukrainian president’s goals seem elusive. In particular, he noted Kiev’s intention to return Crimea to Ukraine.
