The Argentine Football Association named the training headquarters after Messi (photos)

The Argentine Football Association announced that the national team’s training headquarters will be named after Lionel Messi, the captain of the national team, in honor of his efforts.

Lionel Messi led the Argentine national team to crown the World Cup, in Qatar 2022, for the third time in its history, after defeating France in the final match of the tournament.

Claudio Tapia, president of the Argentine Football Association, announced that Messi would name the federation’s headquarters in the Ezeiza district of the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires.

Tapia said in his statements, in the presence of Messi and the Argentine national team players, "We are living a historic day in our home in Eziza, which from today will be renamed Lionel Andres Messi, in honor of the best player in the world.".
