The poetry marathon will take place in Murmansk on March 25-26

The Arctic capital will host events dedicated to World Poetry Day. Northerners and area guests will be able to join the culture for free.

On Friday, March 24, the official Telegram channel of the government of the Murmansk region announced the program of events dedicated to World Poetry Day, which will be held in Murmansk over the weekend.

Thus, on March 25 at 6:00 p.m. at the regional scientific library, performances by poets from the Arctic and poetic duels will begin. In addition, there will also be a craft fair and the awarding of prizes to the winners of the V International Festival “VSEMPOEZII” competition.

The next day, March 26, also at 6 p.m., a spring concert begins in the youth area “SOPKI.21A”. Poets from the members of the Writers’ Union of Russia and the creative association “Polar Cat”, as well as young musicians from Murmansk, will perform in front of the audience.

Admission to these events will be free.
