Colonel of the LPR reported on the failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces offensive on Svatovo

October 4, 2025

The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine refused to attack the city of Svatovo in the People’s Republic of Luhansk. Previously, it was scheduled for March 25 and 25. This was reported to TASS by an LPR military expert, Colonel Vitaly Kiselev.

He noted that two or three days ago the Russian army noticed the appearance of columns of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the Oskol reservoir, near the settlements of Boguslavka, Podliman, Nizhnyaya Zhuravka and Borovaya.

“As they reported, they said that Svatovo will be theirs this weekend and they will celebrate the victory in Svatovo. Apparently something went wrong, and in the past 24 hours these columns disappeared somewhere,” the colonel noted.

Kiselev also pointed out that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was summoned to Kharkiv.
