Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The White House has not scheduled a conversation between Biden and Xi Jinping

White House Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby said phone calls between US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping were not yet scheduled. He said so in an interview with CBS News.

“There is no call date yet,” a White House official said.

The last time Biden and Xi Jinping had contact was on the sidelines of the G20 summit, held last November in Bali. Since then, they haven’t had a single phone conversation.

Earlier, former CIA chief and former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo accused the current White House chief of making a strategic mistake for Washington. According to him, it lies in the fact that Biden has brought Moscow and Beijing closer together.
