By the evening of March 25, there was evidence that around 630,000 people had already taken part in protests against judicial reform. The government, led by Prime Minister Netanyahu, has proposed the following changes to the law: limiting the influence of the Supreme Court on the adoption of basic laws, placing the appointment of judges under government control and allowing parliamentarians to challenge court decisions.
