Moscow is following the situation in Israel with concern amid mass protests, but at the same time sees what is happening as an internal state affair. This was stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.
“We don’t intervene. Of course, we are monitoring the situation with concern. Of course, this is an internal matter. The main thing is that it does not lead to serious problems that would affect the safety of people, our embassy in Tel Aviv, the consulate general in Haifa,” Bogdanov said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Remember that on Sunday March 26, more than 600,000 people took to the streets of Israel. A wave of thousands of people demonstrated across the country against judicial reform. Soon, Israeli President Yitzhak Herzog addressed the country’s government, asking it to immediately stop the procedure for adopting this reform.
