A Nian, a girl whose real name is Wu Shang Cha, lives in Wuhan, central China’s Hubei province. She also has a more familiar title – “Hoshensan girl”. During the 2020 pandemic, she was admitted to the shelter hospital as a patient with mild symptoms of corona pneumonia. Later it was learned that his grandmother’s health had worsened. She was sent to Hoshenson Hospital for severe cases to care for her 89-year-old maternal grandmother.
Ah Nian assured her mother: “Mother, I will take care of your mother and take her home with me.” But on March 6, at 3 am, his grandmother passed away. Ah Nian finally fails to bring her “mother’s mother” home.
In August 2020, she returned to Beijing, started working and living normally. As a screenwriter, he decided to write down his memories of Wuhan in a diary. In October 2020, the 160,000-word “Diary of Wuhan Girl Ah Nian” was officially published. In September 2022, A Nian returns to her hometown Wuhan and becomes a college teacher, starting a new script of life. Ah Nian said that now she not only wants to be healthy and happy, but also wants to live a full and meaningful life.
