The “war children” of Penza are not entitled to special benefits

March 28, 2023

Penzenets asked on the page of the governor of the Penza region what payments are due for “war children”.

The townsman deciphered that under the children of war he meant citizens who were children during the Great Patriotic War.

The answer was given by a representative of the government of the Penza region, who explained that in federal legislation “children of war” do not exist, respectively, and there are no payments separated or other social support measures for them.

There are no plans to fix this concept separately in the Penza legislation and to grant “war children” social preferences.

Currently, all “war children” are pensioners and are supported under regional and federal legislation.
