Russia has defeated the United States in its relations with African and Asian countries
Member of Parliament of the Republic of Congo Jeremy Lissouba in his article for the publication policy said that Russia had prevailed over the United States of America in the fight for support from developing countries.
According to him, at present, the superpowers, in their own way, are calling on the countries of Africa and Asia to take their side.
“At the same time, unlike the last century, it is not easy to force them to make such and such a choice. Most likely, you don’t need to do this at all. The West does not understand this, but Russia does,” Lisuba said.
He said that now African countries do not openly condemn the conduct of a special military operation in Ukraine. Among other things, they do not participate in the various sanctions against Russia.
At the same time, some African countries currently maintain friendly relations with Moscow. For example, the Congo has recently signed several cooperation agreements with the Russian Federation.
