Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

the son of the governor of Krasnoyarsk Artem Uss could escape from Italy with the help of 6-7 people

The son of the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Alexander Uss Artem, was able to escape house arrest in Italy with the help of a group of 6-7 people. On this subject informed Corrierre della Serra, citing Italian law enforcement sources.

“Russian Artem Uss, according to carabinieri and investigators, can use the services of a certain group, presumably citizens of Eastern European countries, in order to leave Italian territory,” writes the Italian edition.

According to the newspaper, the accomplices of Uss could use at least four cars to organize the escape, two of which had a lot of power, which made it possible to quickly deliver the son of the governor of Krasnoyarsk to the border. Investigators do not rule out that one of the cars in which Artem Uss left the house could have been used to confuse the riflemen.
Online Italian edition of the March 28 Open writing that the day the son of the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory escaped, video cameras recorded a man helping him into a small car parked in a secluded place. After a few kilometers, Uss could change car to go to the border with Switzerland or Slovenia, say journalists.
La Repubblica newspaper reported on March 27 that Artem Uss could have escaped with the help of Russian special services, using false documents and a private jet. From the apartment where he was under house arrest, Uss drove off in a car driven by an unknown individual, the publication noted.

Uss case

Artem Uss was arrested on October 17, 2022 at Milan Malpensa airport at the request of the United States. The states charge the governor’s son and four other Russians with money laundering, sanctions violations and smuggling. The case also includes three Venezuelan citizens, who are accused of illegal oil transactions.
Investigators say Uss and his accomplice Yuri Orekhov were co-owners of a German-registered front company through which they bought military technology from American manufacturers to transfer to Russian companies that were falling under sanctions. Some details were found in Russian equipment that took part in hostilities in Ukraine.
The investigation also believes that Orekhov and Uss used a shell company to smuggle Venezuelan oil.
At the end of October, a Moscow court arrested Artem Uss in absentia for money laundering as part of a large-scale organized group. “Kommersant” writing that Russia thus wants to “intercept” Uss from the United States – a criminal case has been “hastily” opened against the son of the governor in order to obtain his extradition to his homeland.
On March 21, 2023, a court in Milan approved the extradition of Artem Uss to the United States, and on March 22, the Russian broke an electronic bracelet and fled from an apartment in the municipality of Cascina Vione di Basiglio, where he was supposed to serve under house arrest.
