A state of emergency due to bad weather has been introduced in several districts of the Rostov region

In four districts and one city of the Rostov region, an emergency mode was introduced due to the consequences of bad weather. This was announced by Vasily Golubev, the governor of the Rostov region.
“In connection with the current situation, I have decided to introduce a state of emergency in the city districts of Shakhty, Belokalitvinsky, Kamensky, Krasnosulinsky and Oktyabrsky,” reads the governor’s message on the Telegram channel.
Earlier, Golubev wrote that due to strong winds with sleet, several kilometers of traffic jams formed in the region and several accidents occurred, and 35,000 residents were left without power. Since the weather forecast for the near future was unfavorable, it was decided to send additional forces and resources of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to places of congestion, as well as to equip heating points on the M highway -4 Don.
On the eve of the highway in the Murmansk region, dozens of cars were trapped in the snow due to a snowstorm. Some spent almost a day in the trap. The survivors told how they got out. The state of emergency due to bad weather was introduced in several districts of the Rostov region
