Petrozavodsk traffic police officers will massively check drivers

March 31, 2023

The Petrozavodsk State Traffic Inspectorate said that on Friday, March 31, another “Sobriety Check” raid is planned. “Undergraduate” drivers caught by patrol officers face a fine of 30,000 rubles and the possibility of becoming pedestrians for the next 2 years.

“Finding a lot of excuses and reasons for driving after a feast, motorists forget the main thing – alcohol dulls the reaction and does not allow you to control the process of driving,” the traffic police noted.

For two months this year, traffic inspectors removed 110 drunk motorists from driving.

You can report drunk driving to the Traffic Police Service Group at the following phone numbers: 715-900, 78-44-44.
