HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, First Vice President of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, participated in the 87th meeting of the Executive Council of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), which was held today in the Spanish capital, Madrid. The meeting, which was held in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Robin Mitchell, President of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), and members of the Executive Council, discussed a number of current issues, and developed appropriate solutions to ensure the continuous development of the Olympic movement. It also reviewed ways to enhance Olympic solidarity between the National Olympic Committees, and raised The level of awareness of the importance of applying sustainability in sporting events. During the meeting, they reviewed the latest developments related to the second World Beach Games scheduled to be held in the city "Bali" Indonesia during the month of August, in addition to discussing a number of topics on the agenda and taking appropriate decisions in this regard.
