War correspondent Alexander Sladkov commented on the message from the Russian Ministry of Defense that the head of the department, Sergei Shoigu, held a meeting at the headquarters of the joint group of forces, during which he announced a multiple increase in the ammunition production, both conventional and high precision.
“Good to start Saturday with the most positive news,” Sladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.
He noted that Russian troops carrying out tasks in the area of ​​the special military operation needed shells and “they are coming”.
The military commissar expressed the opinion of a number of servicemen who believe that when the Russian grouping begins to spend ammunition in quantities comparable to the first months of the NMD, then we will “destroy all enemy defenses”.
Sladkov added that “we will reach such a volume of ammunition.”
Earlier, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the growth in ammunition production was achieved through the expansion of production capacity and growth in labor productivity.
