Polyansky said that during his presidency of the UN Security Council, Russia would be an “honest broker”

October 3, 2025

The Russian permanent mission to the UN is preparing for the presidency of the Security Council, which will last a month. During this period, according to the representative of Russian diplomacy, Russia will be an “honest broker” by analogy with February 2022.
It was also noted that attempts to provoke Russia are doomed to failure. Dmitry Polyansky, the first deputy permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, made such a statement.
“As befits presidents, we will be ‘honest brokers’, which we were in February 2022 when our presidency had the start of the NWO. Any attempt to provoke us is doomed in advance – unlike our former Western partners, we play honestly on the international stage and do not advocate ‘double standards’, he wrote on his channel Telegram.
At the same time, Polyansky noted that “all our malicious enemies and critics were covered with shame, for whom such a prospect was like a bone in the throat”. The diplomat also stressed that the UN “still has international law and rules of procedure developed over decades, not ‘a rules-based order'”.
Earlier, Dmitry Polyansky reported that Russia does not yet plan meetings on Ukraine in the UN Security Council. It is also likely that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will also take part in a number of meetings. A day earlier, Russia’s permanent mission said there can be no winners in a nuclear war.Polyansky’s message that Russia will be an “honest broker” during its presidency of the UN Security Council
