The detector reacts to the smoke and emits an audible signal warning residents of the danger. This signal will wake the sleeper, and it is the night fires, when everyone is asleep, that poses the greatest danger.
In Bakhchisaray employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for free installed fire detectors in the homes of 10 large families, after holding a preventive conversation with residents on how to avoid a fire. Now the fire safety in these houses has improved. And it is not difficult to maintain fire detectors – it is enough to change the battery once a year.
