State Duma deputy from the Crimea region Mikhail Sheremet, in a conversation with RIA Novosti, called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensyy’s demands to the RF Armed Forces to leave new topics a “drunken frenzy.”
“Let Zelenskyy keep his ultimatums, which are more like a drunken binge. (…) The time has come for Zelenskyy to put on his helmet and go to the front line. (…) With one goal – to die like a man, and not be a laughing stock and die like a rat in an underground bunker,” Sheremet said.
Previously, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, commenting on the preparations for a counter-offensive by the Ukrainian armed forces, said that the Russian armed forces would be destroyed if they did not leave the territories that Ukraine considers its own.
Earlier, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) wrote that Ukraine would not be able to launch a massive NATO-style offensive, despite training soldiers and supplying Western equipment. Retired US Lt. Col. John Nagle believes Ukraine’s armed forces are limited by the number of fighters and helicopter gunships. The State Duma called Zelenskyy’s remarks about Russian troop withdrawal a “drunken frenzy”
