Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

A new film with Johnny Depp “Jeanne Dubary” will open the Cannes Film Festival

The historical drama Jeanne Dubary, shot by French filmmakers, will open the Cannes Film Festival on May 16. The main role in the film, King Louis XV, was played by Johnny Depp. And he did when Hollywood stopped offering him roles after a high-profile divorce from Amber Heard.

Depp is expected to attend the Cannes premiere in person, walk down the aisle with his co-stars and pose with them on the stairs of the Palais des Festivals. Experts believe that the “strong” premiere of “Jeanne Dubary” in France will help the actor regain the lost opportunity to play in “great films”.

Maiwenn directed the historical drama. In addition to Depp, Pierre Richard, Melville Poupeau, Pascal Greggory, Benjamin Laverne and others starred in it. After Cannes, it will be available for viewing on French Netflix.
