Putin will take part in the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State

On Thursday, April 6, Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko will hold a meeting of the Supreme State Council (SSC) of the Union State in Moscow. This was reported to the Kremlin.

The leaders of the two countries will discuss the implementation of the key document – “The main directions for the implementation of the provisions of the Treaty on the establishment of the State of the Union for 2021-2023”, which provides for activities unions in 28 program sector unions. In addition, it is planned to take decisions on practical issues of further cooperation on integration.

The day before, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko held a meeting in the Kremlin before the meeting of the Supreme State Council. The Russian president noted that many issues will be addressed during the talks. According to him, the official part is scheduled for Thursday, but for now the leaders have met to discuss things calmly.
