US officials should cease official contact with Taiwan and the ruling Democratic Progressive Party there. This statement was released by the Chinese Ministry of Defense.
The Defense Department document says China strongly protested any official contact between the United States and Taiwan.
China does not agree with Taiwanese leaders appearing in the United States under any pretext and for any reason.
“Strongly oppose US violations of the one-China principle and the provisions of the three US-China joint communiques, as well as any contact with the Democratic Progressive Party,” the Chinese military concluded.
Earlier it became known that the Ukrainian army will receive about a thousand drones with the swarm function from Taiwan. The Armed Forces of Ukraine can use them in the spring attack on Crimea.
