Crimean parliament leader Vladimir Konstantinov said Western countries that consider themselves a “civilized world” showed a strange reaction to the Kiev regime’s aggression against Crimea.
“Somewhat embarrassing is the strange reaction, or rather the lack thereof, to the springtime aggravation of the theme of Crimea in occupied Kiev from those countries commonly referred to as the ‘civilized world,'” RIA Novosti le quote as saying.
At the same time, Konstantinov noted that the Russian side had become accustomed to such a reaction since 2014, when “Western partners”, as well as the organizers and executors of the coup in Kiev, “called black whites and vice versa”.
He pointed out that the collective West “does not notice” and sometimes even encourages the crimes of the Kiev regime.
“We can do without the West,” Konstantinov added.
The day before, the adviser to Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s cabinet, Mikhail Podolyak, said he was confident that Ukraine would be able to return Crimea in five to seven months.
