The regional service of the statistical office has counted all the houses and apartments brought into service during the past year. They had more than 6,600 dwellings, their total area was 530.3 thousand square meters.
According to this indicator, 2022 turned out to be more successful than the previous one by 4.2%.
Interestingly, the growth occurred mainly in the group of single-detached houses, whose share in the total volume of housing units delivered was 62.9%. Individual developers built 333,400 square meters for their own funds and credits.
In the construction of collective housing, on the contrary, a decline was noted compared to 2021. Commission housing was 23.1% lower.
Basically, the construction was carried out in the city of Kirov (196.9 thousand square meters of housing).
