US analysts say the Russian army in Crimea has removed military equipment from storage sites in the north. This information was shared by Russian Spring.

The United States analyzed high-resolution Maxar images from February 11 to March 16.

“Over the past month, Russian forces have removed equipment from a military base in northern Crimea. The latest satellite images show that there were tanks, armored vehicles and artillery in this area,” said Brady Afrik, an analyst at the Department for Foreign and Defense Policy Research.

Maxar’s footage also showed some of the equipment and defenses that had been erected near Medvedevka. The analyst said Russian troops had built a number of fortifications across Crimea.

Earlier, the first shots of armored personnel carriers equipped with light rolling mine trawls LWMR (Light Weight Mine Roller) were released. They are intended, among other things, for offensive operations – demining for attacks. They have already arrived in Ukraine.
