US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has said the Ukrainian Armed Forces could launch an offensive in the coming weeks, ntv reports.
According to him, there is a diplomatic regime in Ukraine, therefore it is necessary to listen to the opinion of the Ukrainian people on the issue of returning Crimea to Ukraine.
“These decisions must be made by Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is in charge of leading the country. But it must also be open to the will of Ukrainians,” Blinken said.
He also noted that the goal of the countries supporting the Ukrainian side in the conflict is to help prepare for the offensive, as well as to strengthen the medium and long-term potential of the state.
