Chinese President Xi Jinping, in an informal conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, noted that they have common views on many international issues.
“I am very happy that we have many similar views on China-France relations, China-Europe relations, as well as many international and regional issues. This reflects the high level and strategic nature of China-France relations,” Jinping said.
He also noted that during Macron’s stay in China, they had made progress in mutual understanding and mutual trust, as well as in clarifying the future direction of China-France relations at the bilateral and international levels.
