The head of North Ossetia, Sergei Menyailo, appealed to the military prosecutor’s office in order to verify information about the bad attitude towards the mobilized people of the republic.
He spoke of the call received, in which a woman spoke of intimidation against mobilized soldiers. The woman published video and audio recordings, which show how the battalion commander of one of the regiments, who performs duties in the Kherson direction, treats his subordinates “completely unacceptable”.
According to Menyailo, the identity of the commander has been established and a call has been sent to the Northern Military District Attorney’s Office and the Southern Military District Attorney’s Office. All circumstances are currently under investigation.
The North Ossetian leader stressed that he was keeping the situation under control.
“Even in the conditions of execution of combat missions, where the strictest discipline is necessary and far from the most delicate relations between commanders and combatants, bullying is unacceptable! This is absolutely not the way to maintain the morale of the soldiers!” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin called on prosecutors to investigate each specific case at the request of families of participants in the military special operation.
