Kiev: Due to the Russo-Ukraine conflict, 7 million Ukrainians have had to leave their homes. Quoting a senior official, a news agency has given this report. Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk said that more than 4 million of the 7 million people who left their homes have been registered by government agencies as internally displaced persons (IDPs).
He said that about one million children had to leave their homes because of the conflict, but they are living inside Ukraine. According to the latest UN estimates, more than eight million people have left Ukraine for European countries since the start of the conflict.
